Walking Tours of Old Delhi

We recommend our Walking Tours for those who love walking and want to submerge in the hustle bustle and chaos of Old Delhi in a more explicit manner!

In the walking tour we visit some popular places and we also venture into some extremely narrow alleys where one can witness the day to day life of the city dwellers and get a close image of the city's rich culture and family traditions. While walking in the narrow streets we pass by some ancient temples, havelis with beautiful facades, ethnically dressed men and women, small manufacturing units making embroided clothes, gift boxes, wedding cards, sweets, breads etc. In complete contrast to the calm alleys we also visit the vibrant and bustling bazaars where one is pleasantly surprised to see the glitz and glamour of the old town. During the walk we also sample some popular food. To visualize the beauty of the bygone days the trained guides give an accurate description of the sites along with rare pictures and sketches. The tour also includes Pigeon Flying experience, a traditional sport of Old Delhi. visit to an Old Haveli* (mansion), built in the 17th century, showcasing beautiful Mughal style architecture. If you have time to explore Old Delhi, this would be an ideal tour for you.

We provide wireless Audio head sets to each guests which helps you listen to uninterrupted live commentary given by the tour guide. As Old Delhi streets are noisy and chaotic, the headsets enables you to walk freely and look around instead of struggling to walk right nest to the guide.
